Radiance just launched on October 23, and the secondary market is already moving. Every card on this list is an overnumbered variant, the same pattern as every set before it. Since the set only dropped a few days ago and the meta is still very new, these prices are early and will likely shift. This article gets updated in the first week of every month.

What Makes These Radiance Cards So Expensive?
Overnumbered cards are behind every high price on this list. An overnumbered card has a number that goes past the set’s official total of 167, so anything numbered #168/167 or higher qualifies. Riot has confirmed that no overnumbered card will ever be reprinted with the same art and frame, which means supply is locked from the moment the set goes to print.
Radiance has three types of overnumbered cards:
- Legend Overnumbered: Each of the nine new legends introduced in Radiance gets their own overnumbered card. Like in previous sets, each one comes in a regular version and an artist-signed version (the ones with a * in the card number), where the artist’s actual signature is printed on the card.
- Heartsteel Overnumbered: Radiance also has a separate group of overnumbered cards featuring all six Heartsteel band members: Aphelios, Ezreal, Kayn, K’Sante, Sett, and Yone in their Heartsteel looks. These also come in both regular and artist-signed versions.
- Ultimate Rare: Packed Amphitheater (#184/167) is the rarest card in Radiance. It’s only the second Ultimate Rare in Riftbound history, following Baron Nashor from Unleashed, and this one is harder to find.
Riven is the only card on this list appearing twice: the Signature at $1,285 and the regular overnumbered at $264. That gap shows clearly what the artist signature adds to the price.
Does the Meta Actually Affect Card Prices?
The variant type is the main driver here, not the card itself. Riven’s regular legend card costs $0.15. The only reason her Signature is sitting above $1,000 is the overnumbered rarity, the no-reprint guarantee, and the art.
That said, Riven is also the standout legend in early Radiance play. This kind of early demand probably gives her Signature a small edge over others in the set. But to be straight about it: Radiance launched on October 23. Everything on the competitive side is from small online events, not major tournaments. These prices are as early as it gets, and it is too soon to say whether Riven stays at the top of this list a few months from now.
For most of the other cards here, like Seraphine, Mordekaiser, Ekko, and the Heartsteel Signatures, the meta has little to do with the price. It comes down to the art, the artist, and how much collectors want it. The meta is at most a secondary factor that might push one Signature above another, but it is not what put any of them on this list.
