Set 6: Legacy (January 2027)
The first set of 2027 is Legacy, releasing January 29. Eight Legends have been confirmed so far: Ashe, Garen, Heimerdinger, Illaoi, Karma, Lux, Tryndamere, and Vladimir, with four more still to be announced. Legacy is built around regional identity, with Demacia, Noxus, Ionia, Piltover/Zaun, Freljord, and Bilgewater all represented through its cards and mechanics. It is also the first Riftbound set designed specifically with drafting in mind. Legacy contains 346 cards including 93 Showcase cards, making it the largest set in the game so far.
Set 7: Reckoning (April 2027)
The second set of 2027 is The Reckoning, releasing April 30. Five Legends have been confirmed: Aurelion Sol, Cho'Gath, Shyvana, Vayne, and Zilean, with four more still unannounced. The set is themed around dormant behemoths awakening and is described as featuring some of League's biggest champions. Further details about mechanics and design will be shared at the first State of the Game in 2027.
Sets 8 and 9: TBC
Set 8, arriving Q3 2027, is Bandle City-themed and will feature Yordle champions, though no names or set title have been confirmed yet. Set 9, arriving Q4 2027, has had no details shared at this time.
